So Overall just a miserable night in sports for me. It started with Yale losing to PC, and seeing PC win is always terrible because Tim likes them. Anyway Lets recap the night shall we. Pitt loses by one on a tip in, and the Islanders lose in OT to continue a miserable start to the season. I think I am most upset about this Pitt loss tonight. I don't know why but I really expected them to win this game by a lot, they have been blowing out mediocre teams so far this year but I guess this old Big East battle was to much for this team to handle. A loss like this right before the start of ACC play is really concerning because as everyone knows the ACC is stacked this year, and there really aren't going to be any easy games. If Pitt can bounce back from this I still think they can contend to finish top 5 in the ACC which this year would be real solid. Either way this is still clearly a tournament team and has the weapons to win a few games in March Madness.
Oh wow I almost forgot to mention... the Bobcats beat the Kings tonight which I guess is a good win? If the Cats can continue to beat the other bad teams in the NBA I think they have a good shot at making the playoffs and maybe even giving a team a good series. People forget that this is such a young team and that they are only going to get better and better.
PS- I really wish more teams would sack up and play Pitt in Pittsburgh because it's games like this that Pitt doesn't lose with the Oakland Zoo behind them.
