NFC North Bowl Preview

To paraphrase the above video, today is gonna be huge. The NFC North Bowl is going down in Chicago today at 4:25. The Packers are pulling out all the stops for today, activating Rodgers and Cobb which isn't good for the Bears. Coupling that with the fact that the Bears defense looked like they were playing blind folded last week against the Eagles, expect the Packers to put up points today, especially if Lacy can establish a running game for the Pack.

The good thing for the Bears is that the Packers defense isn't great either. They rank 26th overall, 21st in passing and 26th in rushing. The Bears are big and physical with Bennett, Jeffrey, and B Marsh, but if Cutler doesn't pass to anyone other than Marshall, then expect this game to go much like Philly did. In order for the Bears to win this game they need Forte to establish the run game and be a threat as a receiver out of the backfield. This game should be really, really close.

PREDICTION: This game is gonna go down to the wire. Rodgers back is huge for the Packers and their offense could always be explosive with him in the game. Cutler looked slow last week, but expect him to pick up his play today. Plus losing is a non-option, so if Cutler does suck don't be surprised if Trestman decides to put McCown in to try and spark the offense. The Bears have all ready beaten the Packers once this year in Lambeau and were the team to knock out Rodgers in the first place. I'm feeling a big game from Peppers on the D-Line, who's gonna hopefully sideline Aaron "Glass for Bones" Rodgers again and leave this in the hands of Matt Flynn. I see this game coming down to a game winning field goal, and who better to kick that field goal than the new highest paid kicker in the history of the NFL! I think Robbie Gould kicks the Bears into the playoffs today and wins the Bears the NFC North.

Packers: 20 vs. Bears: 23 (+3) and the Under on the O/U of 51.

WHAT ARE WE HAVIN' CHICAGO?!?!?!

PS - The Browns play the Steelers today...whatever.
