This is why I picked the packers in my picks. Exactly the reason. Talk about blowing a game. I honestly could not comprehend what was going on through Jason Garrett's mind when he just kept having Romo drop back to pass over and over again late in the 3rd quarter and the 4th quarter. At the end of the 3rd, up 12, the cowboys dropped back to pass twice causing for incompletions and then Romo got sacked right in front of his own goaline. And then up 5, he audibles out of a run play on 2nd and 5. 2nd and 5!!!!!! Sure, Sam Shields made a great play, but why on earth are you passing the ball on 2nd down up 5 with less than 3 minutes left? Also, DeMarco Murray just so happened to run for a cool 134 yards on 18 carries and 1 score, averaging over 7 yards a carry. The packers could not stop the run game, yet the cowboys refused to run it.
I love how pissed Murray was and he had every right to be.
The cowboys don't deserve to be in the playoffs after that game yesterday.
As for the packers, bravo to Matt Flynn. Dude balled out and I wonder where his wild career will go next. Now they have Rodgers and Cobb coming back and are a real threat if they sneak into the playoffs by winning the NFC north.
Also, I miss the Rodgers mustache
