PS - Had I been a manager or something and someone sent me "would of" in an email, I "would of" killed them with something made of wood. (see what I did there, words are fun.)

My New Biggest Pet Peeve
If you know me, you know that I like words. A common catch phrase of mine is, "words are fun," because they are. So when people make grammatical errors it usually bothers me and I'll occasionally correct them (to be obnoxious), but this new error I've seen multiple times now is unacceptable.
Do people actually think it's "would of," not, "would've?" Because if so that is astounding. This is legitimately first grade shit right here. "Would've" is a contraction for the words "would have" not "would of." Both of those pictures above aren't saying anything, they're not actual sentences, and the fact that people are typing this as adults is embarrassing. So as a service to everyone, let it be known and never confused again that it's either "would've" or "would have" NEVER "would of."
