I blogged about an hour ago about how no one cares about the Heat nicknames and how I had no idea why ESPN and Sportscenter was letting us know what Dwayne Wade, Mario Chalmers, and Shane Battier's nicknames were. So, naturally, I made fun of ESPN for featuring something stupid regarding the Heat.
Then, I turn on ESPN to watch the Heat-Nets game, and I see my boy Ray Allen wearing J.Shuttlesworth on the back of his jersey and that's when it all hit me. Tonight was that weird thing the NBA was doing where all of the players were wearing their nicknames on the back of their jerseys instead of last names. This explains the Sportscenter graphic earlier and now I feel dumb. I'm sorry.
PS-Still don't believe that Shane Battier's nickname is "Battle"
