Final BCS Title Game Prediction

A little more than an hour away from the game and i'm on pins and needles right now with this wait.  However, I feel pretty good about Florida State in this game. Bottom line is that Auburn is a very one dimensional offense and Florida State has the talent on defense to stop the run. Timmy Jernigan is one of the best defensive tackles in all of college football and he anchors a very stout Seminole Run defense. Along with Jernigan, Mario Edwards Jr., Christian Jones, and Telvin Smith are three strong run stoppers in the Florida State front seven. There is no way that Auburn will have its way with the Noles run d in the way that they have with so many opponents this year.

This is gonna force Auburn to go to the air, and the Florida State secondary will be up to the challenge of stopping Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall. FSU has playmakers all throughout the secondary and if Marshall is gonna have success he's gonna need to make the tough throws.

This game is ultimately going to come down to the performance of Jameis Winston. He has played well on big stages all year, as many of the Florida State games from the Clemson game on were placed in primetime spots on national television. Could have my heart ripped out tonight, but I don't think Auburn has a chance at covering the countless weapons at Jameis Winston's disposal. Look for Nick O'Leary and Rashad Greene to have HUGE GAMES tonight. Everyone's been giving Kelvin Benjamin a lot of the love along with Winston and Greene and O'Leary will have something to prove. Also, the FSU run game is gonna show the country how good they are tonight. They've got a three headed monster in Devonte Freeman, James Wilder Jr., and Karlos Williams, and Auburn's D will not be ready.

My final prediction: Florida State 31 Auburn 17
